M. O. C. WORKED HARD TO START

THE INVESTMENT OF HALFAYA FIELD

After the coalition of companies (Petrochina one company of C. N. P. Ccmpanies., Petronas, and Total)  had winning in the investment of Halfaya field, M. O. C.  worked hard to start the work in it. In order to achieve that aim M. O. C. did the following activities;-

1.M. O. C. formed a work team to follow-up the work with winner coalition of companies. A delegation of that coalition of companies paid a visit to headquarter of  M. O. C. in 23/Jan/2010.The delegation was from China National Petroleum company (C. N. P. C.) which was the head of the coalition. The delegation met the first Deputy of                       the D. G. of M. O. C. and the staff developed of it. After that ,the delegation visited the head quarter of Myssan province. The delegation met the two deputy of Myssan Governor. The first Deputy of the D. G  ,A. D. G. . of M. O. C., the manger of corporation of fields and the head of media of  M. O. C. presented that meeting . The delegation told the officially meeting ,, our coalition will develop Halfaya field .We shall raise the level of production to (535000B/D ) during the next seven years. We shall buy the product crud oil from it,,. He asked the local government to support the coalition and help him in his work. The head of delegation said,, our company is the 5^th company of arrangement of international oil companies. It has 39Projectes in different countries. There are(1500000) personal work for it. In Iraq we work in development 3fields (Remiala, Al-Ahadib and Halfaya field),,. Finally he invited the senior officials of province to visit Waset province and meet the officials of it and to take a familiarity of running of work in  Al-Ahadib field. Mr. Mohamed Hessian Ali the first deputy of Myssan Governor welcomed the guests. He invited the China companies to work in another projects such as building, health and sports. He tolled them ,, the security in our province is good and it is safe. He invited them to publish this true across the Media. Finally, he confirmed his supporting to M. O. C. and thanked it for its efforts to develop the province.

The delegation visited the location of the field in 25/Jan/2010. He visited a number of drilled  wells. He visited the location of drilling Halfaya8 well and Halfaya degassing station which was build on 2001. At last, the delegation visited the location of installing the Amarah power station 180Mega Watt to know the quantity of pure gas which will supply to it in the next time.  

2.M. O. C. made a workshop in 24/Jan/2010.M.r Mohamed Shia'a the Governor of Myssan presented it. The mangers of  main offices of Myssan province  presented it, too. At first, the D. G. talk in it to express the benefits which the country, province and the company will earn them from the investment of Halfaya field. He said,, that contract will  raise the level of production to (535000B/D ) during the next seven years. It will reduce the level of unemployment in our province. It will help us to develop the technical level of our employs by training them in and out the country according the contract. It will help us to establish a number of trainings center in our province,,. After that Mr. Sámi Naji the manger of corporation of fields, Mr. Amad Ahmed the head of the work team talked and gave more information about the same subject. They confirmed that contract is service contract. Mr. Alia Abed Al- Alnebi the manger of a accounts  of the investment plan department expressed the financials benefits which will we earn them from the contract. He said ,,the contractor pay non-refundable 150000000Milion Dollars to the Ministry when he signed the contract. He will spend 5Milion Dollars to train our employs under the same system. He will spend commissioned oil refundable in the location of field and additions commissioned refundable out the location of field. He will deducted 1Doolar and 40Sinet from every Barrels of oil which product from that field to the all partners including the government partner S. O. C. . The Iraqi government will deduct 35% from it as the income tax. Finally, the Governor of Myssan thanked M. O. C. to their effects to develop production to serve the country and the province .

3. M. o. C. organized a seminar in the hall oil cultural center in 26/Feb/2010. Mr. Yahaya Abed Ali the A. D. G. of M.O.C. , Mr. Amad Ahmed the head of work team, Mr. Mahdi Laibi the manger  of protection department and a number of senior-officials of M. o. C. presented it. A number of officials of local government, a number of Military and security officials, a number of local elder and a number of tribal leaders presented it, too . The A. D. G. expressed the benefits which the country, province and the company will earn them from the investment of Halfaya field. Mr.  Amad Ahmed and Mr. Mahdi Laibi gave more information about that subject. At last,  the meeting agreed to give high efforts for successes the work to serve our country, our province and our company. 

M.O.C.EXTENDED TRANSPORTING -PIPES

M.O.Cextended transporting –pipe from Halfaya de –gassing to Myssan refinery .About this subject M r. Hammed Abass the senior chief engineer who was the head of the supervision committee told us ,, the aim of this project was   to transport the crud oil  from Halfaya de –gassing  station to the refinery  or Bazrgan terminal  ,, .We extended pipe 28 Inch to transport the crud oil to the refinery and returned it to the Faw  -Bazrgan pipe .Ibn Majed company which implemented the project . The project included extending and wilding pipe 24 Inch is long 24k .m  ,pipe 14 Inch with long 5 K .m . Make guide pipe with 5 K .m  long .The guide  crossed rivers, paved and unpaved streets .

The big problem which faced the project was the crossing  Tigris  river but  the farmers  rejected pipe crossing in their fields .These problems were solved by the D .G directives and the management  of      the company efforts

THE FUQA WELL/4 IS PURELY IRAQI WELL

The Fuqa well4 is purely Iraqi well. Mr. Ali Mairech the D. G. of M. O.C. said that when he talked to the reporters of media whom M. O.C. made a free round to them in Fuqa field in25/Dec/2009. That round was done to express the true to the world after Iranian forces had occupied the Fuqa well4.The D. G. told the reporters,, That well was drilling  in 10/Act/1977. It started it's production in 5/Jan/1979. It stopped on September 1980 when the Iraqi-Iranian war started.  That well is linking with South Fuqa degassing station,,. The reporters visited that well which was lied near the  Iraqi-Iranian border. They saw the Iranian forces out the location of the well, but it was still in the side of Iraqi border. They visited the locations of wells Fuqa11,13 and Fuqa14.About those wells which some media said, ,the Iranian forces occupied them the D. G. said,, the Fuqa well 11 is productive well. It is linking with North Fuqa degassing station. The Fuqa well13 was drilling on1980.It started it's production  on1980 but it stopped from it when the  Iraqi-Iranian war started. It started it's production again when that war had stopped  . . The Fuqa  well 14 is one of border wells but there is no problem with Iran about it's ownership of it. It is non-production well,,. Mr. Mohamed Shia"a the Governor of Myssan province and a number of Military and security officials presented that round. The Military and security officials told the reporters,, the Iraqi forces took up their positions near the border wells to protect them from any threat.  At last, we must say the Iranian forces moved  back that well in 27/Jan/2009. Mr. Ali Al-Debag the spokes man of Iraqi government said  that when he talked to the reporters in green area in Baghdad.          

THE D. G. PAID A VISIT TO A NUMBER

OF LOCATINS OF OIL

The D. G. paid a visit to the location of bazrgan field. Mr. Yahya abed Ali the A. D. G. of M. O. C. accompanied him in that visit. The D. G. visited the location of building the two washing tanks (1012 and1013) in the Bazrgan field to has familiarity on the running of work and solve the problems which faced it,  He visited the unit of treatment the wet oil which had built before several months ago

.

He visited the location of joint Noor3 well with Noor degassing station ,t00. He listened to explanation which was formed from Mr. Ahssan Abrahem. Mr. Ahssan confirmed   the workers of constructions branch will finished the operation joint before the drilling of the well will be finished. The D. G .thanked them and he ordered to solve the problems which faced them in their work's. Mr. Jamel Shait the manger of corporation of projects accompanied him in that visit. The D. G. visited the building of Noor degassing station and met the workers of it.  The D. G. answered their questions, ordered to solve their problems, and thanked them for their effects to serve the company and the country.

DELEGATION FROM TRINIDADAXIS VISTED HEAD QUARTER OF M .O .C

The delegation  from Axis company which was specialist of drilling the oil wells visted M .O C .The D.G of this company was the head of  the delegation. The delegation contained M r Chapin the technical manger of it.

This delegation makes a seminar in the hall of oil cultural center. He gave us historical summary about this company, known

us with it's  technology tools. The delegation wanted to know the engineering staff in M.O.C  and take idea about the security case in the province. The delegation gave us summary about their performance in America  ,Shelly and Nigeria .The delegation show us a number of video films about the description of its technical tolls which this company used them in drilling .A number of the engineers of corporation  fields presented this a seminar. The engineers discussed different subjects with delegation about the job, if they were appropriated to work in our fields ,We will make contract with them. At last the delegation makes free tour to the out sites of the fields. The delegation thanked our company to the better hospitality. The delegation expressed his a admiration for the technical level of the workers for M .O .C and drilling company.

THE D .G PAID A VIST TO THEWORK  SITES

The D G  paid a vist to Noor de –gassing station  which was nearly built at that days .The vist was happened on 25 /February / 2009 to solve the problems which faced the work and had supervision on the running of the work

 .The station started the operation when the D .G  got  it .The technicians started the test operation at that time .The flare fired at that time ,too .the two wells ,Noor 1 and Noor 2 ,had been opened and the oil started  flowing to the station .The D .G thanked the workers and said ,,it is large performance .It would support our economy and help us to increase the production of oil
