 THE UNITS OF TREATMENT FOR THE WET OIL    

                          

These units were the largest project which M. O. C. completed  in 2009.About this subject, Mr. Hussein Bailout the senior chief  engineer, the head of  committee which  supervised on the project tolled us, there is a number of wells in our fields stopped from production because they had high humidity in their production. In order to solve this problem, the   technicians and engineers prepared a  study. That study gave us a primary design to the project and the equipments which we needed  to treat the wet oil such as , heaters to heat the crud oil,  different pumps ,  exchanger heating, electric de- solider ,gas separator and supporting systems.

 

THE UNIT OF TREATMENT FOR THE WET OIL IN AMARAH FIELD

The nominated capacity 20000 bbl/day.

THE EXCUTING COMPANY WAS   FROM  ENGLAND ( AYSIA).

The cost of equipment was 4200000 Dollars.  

The cost of works is 500000000 Iraqi Diners. 

 

THE UNIT  INSTALLATION  AND OPERATION
 

 

The installation of  unit had done by technicians and engineers  of M  .O .C . After that, we supplied the unit with electricity  .We connected it with the controlling system. Finally, we started  operating it..

1Install  the pumps, heaters of oil, exchangers of heating of oil and. 2 extended the pipes of chemical-pumps,(Demulsifear),(Corrosion inhibitor) and (Descaler) pumps

3.Installthe compressor air and extended the air pipes to feed the control instruments.

 Install the instrument control in the fuel system.

1. Supported all the guide-walking, stairs and iron wall to stairs to V600, V500, V400 andV300 with three stairs

2.Cutting and wilding all the Iron peaces to;

A. Walking guide, stair and Iron wall to V700.

B. All the piping supports.

3.Willding the chemical pipes and pressure air pipes.

1. Linking the internal electric network to the two Degassing V500 andV600

2.  Install the feeders of electric to the equipments in the power supply room.

3.Extented and joint the electric cables to the heaters, pumps and transformers electric.
